The Canterbury House
Canterbury House is a non-profit, independent living, age-in-place senior community with oversight by a Board of Directors.
Ideally located in the heart of historic, Charleston, South Carolina. Canterbury House is within walking distance of houses of worship, shopping, county library, auditoriums, restaurants, recreational facilities and outstanding medical facilities.
Canterbury House campus is comprised of two buildings and available to anyone 62 or older who meets annual income guidelines.
Canterbury West is a thirteen-story high-rise with 204 apartments. Income guidelines are set and subject to revision by HUD
Canterbury East is a four-story building with 46 apartments; five units are designed for the physically disabled. Income guidelines are set and subject to revision by HUD.
Canterbury House is sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina.
